Founded in 2007 by James and Tamara Dourney, The G.R.I.M. Society is a small yet dedicated team of researchers operating with the mission of scientifically exploring claims of the paranormal while documenting and recording data, summarizing results and sharing collected anomalies with the community at large.  We strive to continually increase our knowledge in all aspects of both the normal world around us and the events which most people believe to be paranormal.  We approach each and every situation with an open mind and search tirelessly for natural causality for any collected anomalies.

The G.R.I.M. Society is not a group of ‘ghost hunters’ looking for a thrill, nor do we profess to be able to ‘help’ with paranormal disturbances, unless it is to provide a mundane explanation for an event which might cause fear or anxiety.  We simply hope to document enough of these occurrences to provide at least a glimpse into the origins of these phenomena.

While we strive to continually update and maintain our website, we hope that you will understand that many of our case files are confidential and, for that reason, all information and data collected will remain unlisted.  We respect the privacy of our clients and would not betray the confidence they have placed in us.
